The new Vitosha Park website: a mobile app, a faster barrier and a map of the whole complex

Hello, neighbours! The website of the complex has been completely renewed. Besides the new look, there are many new things that save time every day — here are the most important.

The “Vitosha Park” mobile app

The barrier and the entrance camera can now be on your phone’s home screen — as an app, for iPhone and Android. No App Store or Google Play needed: it installs from the browser in a minute, from the page Mobile app.

  • an “Entry” button, and an “Exit” button if you like — you hold it for a moment, so there are no accidental openings;
  • you log in once and the app remembers you;
  • the entrance camera is always at hand;
  • the same permissions as on the website — for registered residents only.

The barrier opens much faster

The buttons on the website and in the app now usually open the barrier in a second or two. Until now it often took 10–25 seconds. You can also see the progress of the request — “Opening…”, “Opened”.

Building managers handle access cards themselves

Building managers can now add, edit and delete barrier access cards themselves through the administration module. The change goes straight to the barrier controller, without waiting for an administrator. For a new card, a lost card or a GSM number — please contact the building manager of your entrance.

A map of the whole complex

On the new interactive map you tap a building and see its entrances. It also shows:

  • our barrier at the main entrance and the “Vitosha Ski” barrier on the way to it — it opens for €0.50 or with a season sticker from the security booth;
  • the paid guarded car park, the pedestrian gate to it, the gondola lift and the E123 stop;
  • the playgrounds, the drinking fountains, the mini market (Rose, entrance V) and the gym and spa (Lily, entrance B);
  • the central green area and the playgrounds — the children’s play areas.

Useful every day

  • E123 live — in how many minutes the next electric bus leaves from “Lift Simeonovo”, with live data from the Urban Mobility Centre and the full timetable;
  • the weather for the complex itself — for 721 m above sea level, not for central Sofia;
  • The House Rules with search and a table of contents;
  • address, directions and a Google map — for guests and couriers;
  • light and dark themes and a comfortable view on phone, tablet and computer.

More secure

Logging in is protected against password guessing — after several wrong attempts access is temporarily locked. The barrier, the camera and residents’ data remain for registered users only.

The old website stays available for a while. If you are missing something or something does not work as expected, open it from the “Old version of the site” link at the bottom of every page — and write to us so that we can fix it.

The website will keep evolving. Ideas and comments — through the contact form. Have a nice day!
